STAINED GLASS PATTERN VERTICAL SYMMETRY
Draw only the left or right half of your pattern. In this example, the left half is spread over two scanned pages that
will have to be digitally re-united.
Open a new blank file with sufficient space to fit the scan, and its mirror image. The drawing is re-created by selecting
the images from the two scanned halves, pasting them in the new file, and lining them up.
The resulting image is selected, copied, and pasted in a temporary, second blank page. Its mirror image is rotated 180 degrees.

Copy the modified image, copy, and paste it in the file that has the left side. Join up both sides together with the
"move" tool.

In this example, a few lines above the lower oval piece aren't meant to be symmetric, so they are redrawn. A frame
is added around the pattern with the line tool, and the whole image is cropped to remove unusued portion of the image
file around the pattern.
