PRINTING
A STAINED GLASS PATTERN TO SIZE


Print a pattern from a digital file:

  • Open the pattern in MS Paint. If you have Windows on your computer, you have MS Paint.
  • Select "Page Setup..." from the "File" menu.
  • Reduce the margins to "0.17" to maximize the printed surface per page.

  • Select "Print Preview..." from the "File" menu.
  • You will see that your pattern will be printed, in its full-size, onto several pages.



DIFFERENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW VERSION OF MS PAINT:

  • Open the pattern in MS Paint. If you have Windows on your computer, you have MS Paint.
  • Select "Page Setup..." from the "File" menu.
  • Reduce the margins to "0" to maximize the printed surface per page.


Then follow the instructions as shown:


Check that all is OK with "print preview", then print.

  • Hold a ruler against the pattern on your computer screen.
  • With MS Paint, one inch on the screen is equal to one inch on paper. One inch is 87 pixels wide, and one centimeter, 34.
