HOW TO ENLARGE OR REDUCE
A STAINED GLASS PATTERN


Resize a pattern from a digital file:
  • Open the pattern in MS Paint. If you have Windows on your computer, you have MS Paint.
  • Select "Stretch/Skew... Ctrl+W" from the "Image" menu.

  • The dialog box allows you to increase or decrease the proportions by a percentage value.

  • In this example, change the circle into an oval, and reduce size. The horizontal dimension is shrunk by 50%, while the vertical dimension is shrunk by 70%.
